Start With Science Design & Ideation

If you are designing or ideating for consumers or employees . . .

You should start with science. This means you first begin by standing on the shoulders of the most advanced and relevant-to-your-project knowledge in existence, and from there, ideate. Nothing leads to better insights quicker than starting with the best science.

We bring you a custom set of scientific and best practices (e.g., the science of engagement, memory, story, cool, UX, Gen Z). Then, you ideate with these powerful ideas in a joyful, creative, and impactful process.

Starting with science is especially useful for virtual spaces where structure in ideation is more important. With the foundation of the Start With Science package, you have have a constant return point that anchors your team across a single session or month of ideation.

Office Hours

Get behavioral science on your team.

Get an expert in the domain of behavioral science and the general practice of thinking scientifically and strategically for a few hours every week or month.

Troy and the team help you by providing regular guidance, prototypes, mini-audits, ideations, strategy assistance, or whatever you need right in the moment. The result will be that as you move forward, everything will be reinforced with the best guidance from behavioral science, the most logical thinking, and extra touches from OYF’s staff of strategy and creative experts.

The Experience Squad

If you have new or existing employee or customer experiences that could be improved . . .

Have a team of experts in all aspects of the human experience design ideas for you. We have designed novel ideas for the Netflix platform, Disney Parks, UnitedHealth Wellbeing, Comic-Con, Intel, Apple, Nike, and, in 2020, we’ve helped many companies do impactful, needed, and joyful things with their consumer and workplace experiences.

Led by behavioral scientist and former Disney Imagineer Dr. Troy Campbell, the OYF Experience Squad consists of scientists, visual artists, filmmakers, professors, entrepreneurs, facilitators, organizational experts, applied and stage improv stars, actors, and more. Together, we create truly original and holistic ideas for your experiences.

No one knows how to ideate for human experiences as holistically, practically, and joyfully as the Experience Squad.

Better Data

If you analyze or collect any data, remember that numbers alone are not science . . .

And get yourself an expert scientist to re-analyze, re-think, and make the most of your data through consulting or engaging workshop experiences.

Troy’s academic data has influenced congress and a presidential administration, and his private data work for Netflix and Disney has influenced their platforms and experiences. Troy and his team bring an expertise of the psychology of people who make up your data points and an expertise in hypothesizing in both scientific and generally curious ways to produce new analyses and data strategies.
